@judithg sadly no, my daughter came home to write up her PhD because she was being made sick by her neighbour's cannabis habit, which included dealing, and allowing the buyers to sample his wares in his bathroom. She was theoretically in an enclosed studio flat, but some bright spark connected the extractor fans between bathrooms, and she's very allergic, and cannabis now causes anaphylaxis, along with nuts and shellfish. We are regretting she brought anything home as everything reeks; even after washing, most of it reeks so much that if it's put away, the whole drawer needs checking and anything touching also smells, probably ineradicably. Which is a total pain. It was so bad I went up to help her pack for 24 hours, and everything I took up, wore, slept in when I came home (because I didn't get home until 1:30am - train delays due to wire theft) has been thrown out. She is currently hitting my fabric stash to make herself some replacement clothes.
