Bye bye love, bye bye happiness

Song title from the Everly Brothers for the song title challenge and the six word story challenge. This also is for the Flash of Red February challenge, which this week is focusing on a single subject and hopefully telling a story. And because this time I achieved shadows, Minimalism using light and shadow which finishes today.

Three good things:
1. Great British Sewing Bee is back - and I've just watched it with my daughter;
2. Bright sunny day all day, which is always cheering;
3. I can tag this for five challenges

Thank you for looking and for being so lovely about the uncertain artist's model in yesterday's shot. I try to comment on your pictures rather than thank you individually below.
i almost forgot i was hosting that challenge lol. . he looks a bit dejected

Fits so many themes, and conveys the feeling well. Most evocative.

He looks so sad and you have chosen the best title for this picture. I remember that sond well. Love the minimalism in this one.

We watch the Great British Baking Show here in California. This character is a great way to explored light and shadow and positive and negative space....good idea.

He is positioned so well to capture the emotion of the title
Five challenges! That has to be a record, surely :)

@shutterbug49 the Great British Bake Off was the first of the series, followed by the Sewing Bee, Pottery Throwdown and Art challenge, all on the BBC. Mostly run by the same TV company - Love Productions, who then fell out with the BBC when they sold the Great British Bake Off to Channel 4, and all the rest of the were cancelled. There was a big petition to keep the Sewing Bee, which has succeeded. Sadly the Great Pottery Throwdown has gone, but that was the last established.
