You give love a bad name

This is for the Flash of Red February challenge which this week is looking at negative space and a single subject - the title is from a Bon Jovi song, which includes the line:
"You promise me love and give me hell" (and means I'm tagging this for the song title challenge) and it's also being tagged for the six word story challenge

When I was looking for songs I found He gave me roses which is a poem about the use of flowers to groom someone for abuse. And I'm iffy about the whole Valentine's Day hearts and flowers thing.

Thank you for looking, you are all wonderful. I try to look at your pictures rather than thank you individually in below.
Oh dear- such a sad ending!!

Very emotive image and the flash of red is fantastic. We fall but the problem is when we don't have the strength to get up on our feet again.

Wonderful! Just looking at this, I knew it was something distraught before even reading your description. You are a great story teller through pictures!

Oh the poor thing!
My favourite poem about flowers is still the one by Wendy Copy. It sums up my OH perfectly.

A bit delayed in offering a challenge. Why not try panning out intentional camera movement. You can definitely do that with your black and white theme for the month. Good luck.
