Nice to be home again. Puttered around doing some kitchen cleaning, shopping and took the car through the car wash. A couple hundred miles of salt and sand from the snowey roads had left the poor thing looking like it had been through a major storm. Thank goodness for drive through carwashes; standing around in the 34 deg. F. rain washing a car is not my idea of fun. The rain finally cleared around 5:00 so I took myself out for a walk.
The scillas (aka bluebells) in my yard are giving serious thought to blooming. Their little green leaves are poking up in my rock garden. This shot also includes my small atempt at yard art with my "what should I do with all these rocks I keep digging up" rock stack.
I can see your rock installation has heaps of promise (pun intended). I expect an occasional update as it grows. Lovely to see that spring is making up its mind to arrive at last. I haven't seen any real signs of autumn here yet but we don't have a big seasonal change in these parts. Really nice photo documenting your seasonal change.
I really like this Shannon. I have places like this too. Good idea with the rocks! Love all the little bits growing through the stones, mosses and rosemary. Lovely!...as they say, its nice to go travelling but oh so nice to come home!!:-)
