Space Needle from my office, Seattle

I'm behind in uploading and even more behind in commenting but I'm still wide awake so decided to put up a shot of the New Year's fireworks at the Space Needle for 2012. The family and I did our annual trek all the way to my office to stand in the Board Room and watch the fireworks at the Space Needle. It's always sort of a guess what I will get when I take these shots working on a two second timer and the camera on fireworks mode I just wait until it's ready for me to hit the shutter again move my hands away and repeat until the end of the show. Then it's hard to decide which one to post as several usually come out looking pretty cool. I liked this one with the burst right at the level of the revolving dining area. There are people inside the Needle and you can almost see them in this shot... Almost.

Happy New Year. This is another great shot of the fireworks at the needle. They were good this year and 8 minutes worth of fun!! I got a few fun ones too. Hope to get together this year! You beautifully captured the event.
