Mother's Day in the US and the boys, my hubby and my dad and I went out for breakfast. Then we headed over to the lake so the boys could run their RC boat on the water. André took off his shoes to wade in the lake and walk through the grass. We found out later in the week that the water in the lake has had sewage running into it for the last eight years due to a faulty hook up during the construction of an apartment; I don't think we will be wading again this summer!

Then we went to my mother-in-laws to make her dinner for Mother's Day. Pot roast would not have been my choice for a warm day in May, but she enjoyed it.
