A shot from my neighborhood walk this evening. This patch of buttercups was glowing in the evening sun about a mile from the house. Every year I am amazed by how quickly the flowers fill in the blank spaces with color as the days lengthen and the soil warms. And every year I am upset with myself for not doing more in the yard earlier in the year. As I walk around the neighborhoods I see what is blooming in other people's yards and kick myself for not putting that plant in mine.
