Well, it's been forever since I uploaded or commented but I'm finally getting around to getting the hair that has invaided my camera cleaned out tomorrow so I needed to download everything I'd taken in the last month and thought I'd put something up. The dreaded hair is right in the top center of the camera when held horizontally and therefore invades many a photo and when looking at the shots from this day there appeared to be new second one as well. As it appears in shots taken with either of my lenses it must be in the body. Hopefully after tomorrow it will be better.
This shot from last weekend at my friend Annie's cabin on Lake Cushman near the entrance to the Staircase area of the Olympic National Forest (a UNESCO site) taken standing in the water. Annie, Pam and I had a relaxing weekend after a rather adventerous trip up to the cabin (well Pam and I as Annie was already up there) with a dead battery. One of the few weekends this summer that was so hot that we just couldn't sit out in the sun for too long.
Hopefully I will get back on track soon. As I sit here watching the Olympics closing ceremony at least that's one less draw on my focus. What a time suck, but I still love them.
