...so, to my local pond again, it was a gorgeous day, so thought I'd go and take some photos there. They are doing all sorts of changes to the surrounds of the pond, and they've built a wooden deck that extends over some of the water, so there's a great view of the wildlife.
There were people feeding the birds and I captured this swan reaching out for some food. I just love the angle, I think quite different from usual shots of these beautiful birds
@layahmarie - thanks Layahmarie @miley89 - thanks Miley - no posterize - all I did was sharpen a bit, and removed some soggy bread in the water - the swan was in the shade...did nothing else
Wow! Thank you all soooo much for your vews, comments and favs - so chuffed to get on the PP page (yeah I know, I shouldn't !!!) Really appreciate all your support
Really cool composition and perspective. It reminds me of those visual perception graphics of a goblet, two faces, goblet, two faces....... Ack, make it stop! This shifts in my minds eye from the swan to a flower to a gap between two people or where two tree limbs come together or...........
this is excellent! love the composition. I didn't realise it was a swan until I'd followed the white all the way down to the beak. It looks like a painting. Love it!
Saw this on the discussion page and fell in love with the graphic element of this composition. I realize it is too late to make a difference, but I am adding it to my fav list.
@lorraineb@beachradish@steveh@allie912 - thanks so much for your comments....it's good to be abe to share older photos isn't it ? Really appreciate the favs !!

Regarding the thumbnail, I expected to see milk running out of a bottle or something like that. What a surprise to see a swan :)
