"The difference between friends and pets is that friends we allow into our company, pets we allow into our solitude." ~Robert Brault
**I spent the day with a very special friend today and got to meet their adorable new puppy. She was soooo cute and playful. I snapped a ton of shots of all four kids playing with her. Then there was this serious moment that I wanted to share with you. The bond. The gentle and loving bond that has already formed between these two precious girls. There is something so amazing about what our pets do for our souls. It gave me so much joy to see these girls falling in love with their first ever dog. And it made me miss my Kona...I look forward to one day being in a situation to adopt another dog in need of a home. In need of a new best friend...or four!**
This is such a beautiful shot! The look on the dogs face is so wise & filled w/ emotion...almost human. And the little girl is adorable! Perfect pairing of the quote & photo!
Thank you everyone for your comments!! She is such a sweet puppy. Both girls you see here are very playful and always have 'happy' eyes, that's why I love this shot...it shows emotion and love. I think my friend will love it, but she's going to LOVE the ones I got of all the giggles and slobbers. Lol
Boxers are such sweet dogs. We just lost ours last week. :( Love this photo, it reminds me how sweet and lovable ours was. We'll definitely be getting another boxer soon.
@Michelle, so sorry for your loss. It is so difficult to lose a precious pet. I grew up with Boxers as well and they have such amazing personalities. I'm happy that you'll be getting another one to complete your family...Thank you all for your comments!! :)
this is absolutely perfect! what a lovely portrait! (and you know how i feel about pets and saving lives through adoption!) boxers are such beautiful dogs!
Kids and pets are so unfiltered with their love. This photo really captures the love and trust that can only form between people and pets. Nicely done!
this is just so precious! We have 2 boxers, they are sisters and have been together since birth. They are 2 years old now. I love the bond between them & my son! Super great shot.
