My Dad recently gave me this hurricane candle cover that his Mom painted back in the 50’s. Her husband died at a very young age and she was left to raise 5 children and run a business all by herself. She needed a stress release and apparently took a liking to painting. I love learning about my family and so cherish this little piece of history.
