A fill in from a couple of weeks ago – I came across this mirror of a puddle and decided to try this shot, but this involved the dogs waiting patiently while I circumnavigated the puddle, tip-toeing along the edge of the water so as not to create a ripple. They stayed as commanded until I turned, which an impatient Tia took as an indication that she should join me, and although a sharp “WAIT!” stopped her in her tracks, it was not before the reflection was shattered by waves radiating out from her paws. The process was repeated, but this time with Tia lying down to encourage her to stay put, and I got the shot. I then realised that shots of the dogs running towards me through the water may have potential, and this action shot was the one that I decided to use on 365 at the time.
Another shot you kept hidden from me! Could it be that you know you'll be in trouble bringing 2 muddy dogs home? You must have hosed and dried them super fast as I didn't notice at the time!
