A final mountain view across Howe Sound from Squamish, and I’m not even sure of the name. Maybe @fugitivemoments can help? Possibly Mount Sedgewick. By this time we were winding down from the holiday mood, as dusk fell on our last full day.
We took our friend from Squamish out for a meal to thank her for her hospitality, and at her suggestion we went to the Watershed Grill, overlooking the River Squamish, where mist was rising over sunset pink water as we reserved our table. After the serenity of the riverside, the atmosphere in the restaurant was lively and noisy, which was just as well. We needed to have our minds distracted from the following day. We really didn’t want to go home.
@shepherdman If there is a sharp pointy bit under the cloud on the right then I believe this may be Mount Garibaldi - a potentially active volcano which, I think, is the only volcano to have formed on a glacier. Great capture. It tends to hide in clouds a lot.
