All sorts of time consuming issues have taken me away from 365 for a few days. Why does a new mobile phone take so long to work out what to do and how to do it? Far too many options and choices to make. Never had this problem with the black Bakelite device of my youth, with the big silver dial on the front. You wanted a telephone, and that is exactly what you got. And it was firmly attached to the house, and so no-one could steal it.
Dark mornings and gloomy afternoons have restricted photo opportunities, not helped by taking a camera for a walk on the sunniest day of the week, but leaving the memory card at home, but I do have a few photos to sort out in my “potential 365” folder. But for now I’m afraid that you will have to make do with this frivolous image from last August, houses on our Lane peaking up from behind the stubble of a harvested field, a reminder of long warm days, as a cold wind howls around our home.
If there is no improvement in the weather tomorrow the painting of the garden fence will have to wait, and I’ll have time to rummage through some more recent photos.
Ha, ha great story. You should put these all together in a book. I love this shot, not frivolous at all. Hay bales are one of my favourite things. And the lighting is wonderful.
I love this frivolous filler!!
Thanks for the follow a while ago, you will have realised that i am the worst "commentor" on 365, my apologies, but there just don't seem to be enough hours in the day! :-)
