As always, the electricity pylons, which run to the west of most pf the footpaths that I use, get in the way of a sunset shot. As with many objects that “photobomb” I don’t actually notice the pylons when I an out and about with the dogs – they just blend in with the background,. But as soon as I get the camera out, there they are, bisecting a vivid blue sky behind the old bar, rising up starkly behind the naturally twisted silhouette of a dead tree, or just taking over a sky-scape.
The pylon and the transmission lines in this shot are just perfect. It makes this shot interesting since the transmission lines are going the same direction as the lines in the sky ( my English is to bad to explain exactly what I mean)
I know your predicament well. With an east West line and a north south line stretching across my horizons I often fail to even notice them and get a surprise when there they are dropped across the "perfect" image I've just capture.
Wonderful capture! The colors are beautiful and I like the silhouette of the tower. In the past I always thought ruined but I'm starting to come around, especially with shots like this one. :)
Isn't that the truth, how many times have I cursed them for being in the way when I hadn't noticed them before. Why can't the camera learn to ignore them?
I can totally relate! They are so annoying! I often think I've got my angle fixed to eliminate them, but when I look at the photo, there's those crazy lines running through a corner. This photo of yours, though, I wouldn't say that the pylon ruins it. I think it looks pretty good against the flaming sky, the way you have composed it.
