We haven’t quite got floods after a couple of rainy days, but we certainly have big puddles in the field by the river, which Tia makes a beeline for. Even if we are walking in the adjacent field Tia will find a gap in the hedge and go for a joyful gallop through the somewhat muddy water. She wasn’t quite sure why I shouted “WAIT”, looking around to see what distraction I wanted her to avoid, but she came to an obedient halt and stood still until the ripples dispersed and I was able to take the photo, before she came trotting over for a well-deserved treat.
I'm sitting at a breakfast table in a far north hotel watching a similar Alsation chasing sparrows - only this one has no tail - the story of which I never got to know! Tia looks great reflected as well!
