It was a bit of a “wow” moment as we walked down the field track behind our home, appreciating the clear sky after a miserably wet day, and we (well, me, Tia doesn’t appreciate such things) suddenly spotted the moon rising over the village of Huncote. We walked across the “cow’s field”, across the narrow bridge crossing the now swollen river, and up the far side to follow a grassy field edge, avoiding the worst of the mud. Throughout the walk the moon was rising up into a darkening sky, a great backdrop to our evening dog walk.
