The bridge over the M69 that carries the footpath towards the village of Thurlaston. The track over the bridge leads to a farm where the operators of a local sand quarry store large trucks that carry sand away from the quarry. The trucks are heavy enough to leave tracks in the tarmac over the bridge, and as all 0.1 tonnes of me and Tia walk across the bridge, I often wonder if any of the trucks exceed 32 tonnes, and whether we are likely to descend unexpectedly onto the motorway.
