Baildon Moor by shepherdman

Baildon Moor

Baildon Moor, at the edge of the Yorkshire village where my sister lives, and where we spent a few days over Easter. Staying with my sister, that is, not on the Moor. I havent a clue what these posts are all about. They each look distinctly like fancy gate posts, but taken together they are clearly not. Maybe something arty?
If you considered them 'posts' and ran wooden rails from one to the other they could make a fence... admittedly one with very wide spacing between slats :-) . Makes for an interesting photo though!

They look pretty old and make a fabulous foreground. Stunning perspective and landscape.

I've done lots of googling and cannot find what these structures are - found a lot of interesting stuff about Baildon Moor, though! A great walk!

Wonderful landscape! Very interesting posts - I think they must be "arty" as I can't think of a use for them. I wonder how old they are? I am sure if they were of "historic" interest you would have to pay to see them! Lol! Fav!

Love your pov!, I would have a guess at them being fence posts to take two pieces of wood ? Fav
