Another dusky dog walk with few photo opportunties, and so I paused for a while where my route ran briefly alongside the M69, where, apparently, more folk were heading for Coventry that the return direction to Leicester. After trying a few shots (no tripod, just a helpful fence post) my hands were cold, and I looked around for my dropped gloves. Unfortunately not only had I dropped them in mud, I also managed to tread on one of them, resulting in a muddy footprint on one side, and a muddy smear on the other.
