My take on the supermoon. Looking back up Croft Hill during a pre-dawn walk revealed the moon about to descend below the summit. "What that needs" I thought "is a dog", and so Tia was persuaded to return with me to the summit and stand facing the moon, as I walked back down to where get the moon suitably positioned. I lifted the camera, and Tia, knowing that a photoshoot is followed by a treat, decided to join me, and only a firm "SIT" stopped her in her tracks. She sulkily faced the other way. The result was a low light high ISO noisy image with a "blown" (as @shepherdmanswife described it) moon and a dark, rather than dawn-pale, sky. I adapted it to the best of my ability.
Well if the moon was blown it isn't now so your processing skills must be pretty good. I like this a lot and your commentary about Tia tops it off nicely :) fav
