Looking across from the footpath around the edge of Croft Quarry to Croft Hill on the far side at sunset. The light breeze that been refreshing all day had dropped, and as we walked back in the warm still conditions, midges followed @shepherdmanswife, a dancing acrobatic cloud above her head, occasionally dropping down for a nibble. As long as I stayed close to her, they never bothered me. They clearly had good taste. Literally.
