Chatsworth Park by shepherdman

Chatsworth Park

We set off in the dry this morning, but within minutes heavy rain was being delivered sideways in the strong wind. The waterproof cover that I was holding over my camera escaped and blew across the field, with Cody in pursuit, until he was distracted by a dog coming the other way, and started to pursue the dog instead. Fortunately we knew the owner and dog, Cody behaved, and I found my wet camera cover high in a hedge. My camera was already wet, and I decided I'd had enough. And so this is an infill from a month or so ago.
Disappointing not to get a photo today but this one is well worth posting!

I love to walk in Chatsworth’s grounds with the dogs. Only trouble is the last time earlier this year George kept eating sheep and deer poo and was so ill we had to cut our holiday short. It has made hesitate to go again. Love this bridge with beautiful reflection! Wonderful photo opportunities!

It's a beauty -- I was reading the narrative and wondering how you got such a clear shot in all that rain. Now it all makes sense.
