Wild-ish Flowers by shepherdman

Wild-ish Flowers

Wild flowers usually found at the edge of a cultivated field, presumably benefitting from regularly turned soil. The crop behind is maize, grown for the first time in the fields behind our garden. In a month or so we are having a raised patio constructed at the end of the garden to enjoy the views across the fields. With 2m high maize all we will see is a wall of green. At least it will be sheltered.
I like them :)

I love the dense colour of the poppies along with the daisies - whose petals all point downwards like a rocket about to takeoff! Fav

Lovely capture of this field margin. Some of the fields here have been sprayed and planted to the hedge - very sad.
