Another image from last weekend when @shepherdmanswife and I spent 15 minutes watching this young fox from the bottom of our garden. After leaping onto a rat (or maybe a vole) and throwing it into the air, the fox briefly disappeared into long grass, presumably for a discrete supper, before trotting towards us. Shorty after this shot he sensed our presence and disappeared into the maize crop.
