We walked approximately 3 or 4 miles of the way up ‘The Miners’ path towards Snowdon’s summit today. We might have got further if I wasn’t on anti-biotics that are giving me a very sore and jippy tummy, not to mention my 2 arthritic hips or the blisters ……and where does someone my age go to the bathroom?
Of course, we could say we didn’t make it to the top because Lesia our old GSD is also arthritic! Anyway, we got as far as the track went before it became ‘rock climbing’! That’s my excuse anyway! Time to make our way back down to the car and more importantly, that wonderful building titled LADIES!
The views were fantastic and made it all worthwhile. The dogs are exhausted and shepherdman is sitting here with his pint of beer and nibbles. Tomorrow the sea-side…
Very lovely, and definitely worth the climb. Good for you for getting that far, especially with the tummy and hips and blisters and longing for the ladies' room. I'm sure I wouldn't have made it any further, even without those problems.
