Lesia, our faux wolf, from Wolf on Bardon Hill photo (thank you all for getting it to PP) would follow @shepherdman anywhere he goes.
This photo was also taken last Monday. I hope you're not too bored with them yet, but I've had a long week at work, dark at both ends of the day, so haven't had much chance or inclination to get out there and take more photos!
This is one of the last walks that Lesia is having for a while. She forgets that at almost 10 years old, she's an old lady, not a puppy. After a vigourous play session with rescue dog Tia, she spent the day at the vets . Had an x-ray on her rear leg. Her knee is terribly swollen, but no broken bones, just tendon and tissue damage. So, bed rest for 1 week with painkillers and anti-inflammatory, then get reviewed.
She's not going to like that! Neither is Tia, as it was no doubt her fault that Lesia injured herself. Tia will keep teasing and teasing Lesia until she plays with her.
I really like the atmosphere in this and the fluffy rear end. What a shame that Lesia is now rest bound - must be really hard for a dog. Hope she makes a speedy recovery!
Lovely capture, great pov and framing, fav for me! I love seeing pictures of the dogs and hearing about them and i'm definitely not bored. Hope Lesia's swelling goes down that she will once more be able to do the things she loves.
Stunning capture. Wishing Lesia a speedy recovery. Not nice when one of the fur kids is hurting. Hopefully Tia will realise that her playmate is under the weather!
This is a really lovely shot of dog and partner . Hope she heals quickly. My shepherd gets a bit crazy sometimes and I need to get her to slow down, she is only 6 but has had both cruciate ligaments repaired..
She is not going to like the enforced bed rest!
