near Lake Louise in Banff National Park.
Had another fantastic day out. We drove from Banff through the Bow Valley Parkway instead of the Trans Canadian Route 1, so that we might catch sight of, and if very lucky, shoot with a camera, black bear, grizzly bear, Lynx, etc, but no luck. Had a chipmunk climb up my leg because he thought I was going to feed him! @shepherdman will be posting a photo of that event sometime this week.
So sorry I haven't got time to comment much. Will have a good catch up when we get home in a couple of weeks.
Moraine Lake is one of our favorite lakes in the Banff area. Also not as congested as Lake Louise has become over the years. Lovely shot. Great reflection and show of action for the people.
This is so wonderful. There are multiple elements to this photo to catch my eye. The snow on the mountains (and their peaks) in the background, the lovely sunlight on the mountains in the mid ground, causing a beautiful reflection in the river/lake and the colors and people in the mid and foregrounds. Just fabulous!
Such a wonderful image with the brightly colored canoes and the softness of the surroundings. This place is on my list to visit - someday! Enjoy your trip.
OMG .... what a amazing series of stunning images ... just out of this world ... you have really been hitting the highs in those high mountains ...Favvv all the way
