near Banff Alberta, Canada.
Another beautiful day, so we stopped just outside Banff on our way to Calgary today. We are staying in an airport hotel overnight so that my dad can catch a very early flight back to New York State, where he lives.
We travel to Jasper National Park tomorrow, to stay in Jasper for 3 nights then back to Squamish then hopefully over to Tofino on Vancouver Island for a night then back to the UK on Saturday.
Don't want to go. This place is a photographers paradise!

Have you hit snow yet?? Calgary got a dumping a few days ago. My husband was stick on the runway for an hour and a half waiting for the plane to be de-iced! Such a gorgeous shot!
great capture here, the strong colour of the lake works well with the sky and the foreground really pulls you in. I love the layers in this, it really gives it a sense of depth and perspective!
I can imagine that you are close to heaven there. It takes me back to our trip 3 years ago though we did not get as far North as Jasper. Went from Calgary to the Colombian ice-fields and back down to Vancouver vis Lake Louise and Penticton. Canada is so beautiful and I would love to return to the northern area and V Island. Also more of the east as went to Niagara. Definitely a photographers dream!
