I AM HOME! I escaped from hospital after 6 days last night. Yippee! So nice to be home. Feel like I lost a week of my life. Thank you all for your well wishes, hugs etc. Nice to feel cared about by so many people. What a wonderful community.
There will still be fillers to come as one doesn't recover from double pneumonia and pleurisy in just 6 days, so won't be fit enough to get out there with my camera just yet! This was taken down under in my favourite country of Oz somewhere near Cairns. Beautiful beaches like this with warnings not to go on them because of crocodile and jellyfish!
So pleased you are home Chantel. Now relax and get yourself better for Christmas. Let everyone else rush around you and do all the work!! Lovely image - just dreaming of being there when I read about the crocs!! How scary!!
So glad to hear they let you go home, just rest and finish getting better. Love this beach, but the thought of crocs on the beach is a little terrifying, beautiful though.
Wonderful news, poor thing - what a horrible time you have had. This is a fantastic picture. Be spoilt, keep warm and walking (advice given to my father when he had double pneumonia). Hope you feel better soon.
Glad you are much better and allowed home! You will be very tired. But lovely to see your take on the beaches of Queensland. All that heat and wonderful sandy beaches and you can't go swimming. So its not perfect!
Glad you are home - but don't go out in your freezing weather! Love your shots of Aussie - pity about the beaches up north. Come down south and you can swim all year :) Just a bit colder!!
Beautiful shot, much safer beaches where I live though, no crocs or jellyfish here. Next time you are in Oz you will have to visit our part of the world.
So good to hear you are home. Take it easy and enjoy having a well earned rest. Hope you are feeling much better soon.
Oh gosh I'm so happy to hear you are home. This has to mean you are on the mend. No fun being in a hospital. This pictures looks like a painting.
Beautiful.
Lovely cene. You poor thing. I had similar same time six years ago. Now always have flu jab and take selenium daily to build up immunity. Don't rush around, just rest.
Blimey I turn my back for two minutes and you go being super ill. Last time I check in you were feeling a bit ropey. Glad to hear you're home but really you are right - it is NOT the weather to go out when you've been so ill.
Lovely capture which seems to breathe warmth and sunshine, with great processing. Take care and don't overdo! I'm sure Shepherdman and the dogs and cats are thrilled to have you back.
Wow, gorgeous.....FAV!!! So glad you are feeling better.....Love the "escape from the hospital".....stay low....don't let them catch you and put you back in......so thrilled to have you back!
