I know that a lot of you don't like my photos when I edit them with the oil paint filter, but I just couldn't resist it with this bambi! So I'm sorry for not sharing the original unadulterated shot but I just love this one as she looks so adorable like this, not that she didn't anyway, but I just prefer this one. Sorry for the rambling on.
Thank you all so much for the huge number of faves for the frozen web shot yesterday. @shepherdmanswife/365/2015-01-04 I am flabbergasted! It's always the ones that I don't think are that good that you lovely people like the best!
Definitely something very magical about this! Personally, I love the oil paint filter! You never get carried away with it and use it with the utmost discretion. Have yet to see one I don't like. :)
It looks sooooo soft and fluffy! :) Regarding the oil paint filter - I think the deer looks great but maybe the grass looks a bit too unnatural. Really lovely shot :)
Amazing shot and excellent processing, an instant fav! I want to thank you very much for following me, Chantal! I am truly honored, I have been admiring your work for quite some time, especially your landscape shots! Needless to say, I am following you back.
@fjmom thanks Carol. That's so nice of you to say so and to follow back. Thanks also for the fav but it is not showing. Would you mind pressing the * again:)
This is lovely.....I can totally see why you would prefer it.....it gives Bambi that extra softness, and an ethereal quality! FAV! Oh, and I have always liked your oil filter processed shots! I know you are selective about them!
Over 1000 images, ya just gotta have fun with it! You are the artist!
Fav, love this effect. I agree also that we get taken by surprise sometimes by something we take for granted. Maybe if we didn't feel challenged in the getting the shot or processing the shot we didn't personally invest in it??
