Where did he come from? by shepherdmanswife

Where did he come from?

a deserted beach, except for a horse that was playing in the sea!
His owner was on the beach, keeping a watchful eye on him.
Not riding him -! Must be very trusting that the horse will come back! How amazing and beautiful to photograph this!

wonderful capture. i used to have a horse that loved the water. she adored swimming. i found a nice pond where i could take her tack off and allow her to do just this because she, too, behaved very well. i was able to swim, she did, we both got dressed and went on our way.

images of horses on the beach always have a lovely feel to them.
I've managed a couple on my 365, one in menorca and one on the east coast, mine had riders though :)

Just love this, it takes me back to my childhood in NI when I holidayed with my cousin in Portrush and we would ride her friend's horses on the beach (bareback!)

Awesome! Fancy finding him just playing like that.

Oh, he looks so happy to be in the water!! I can sit and watch the dogs at the beach for hours here....their owners bring them in and throw sticks or balls to them to entice to go in the water and fetch them....this game can go on for a very long time!!
