I just can't stop watching them and taking photos of them. They are not born with fear of us so I can get quite close. Luckily for him his mum and dad don't like me getting too close and will do a fly-by to encourage the chick to fly with them. It wouldn't do him any favours to not be afraid, especially with a house full of cats. He doesn't realise that we are keeping them housebound for the month of June to allow him and the other chicks to get strong and fly away. @shepherdman got down on the patio with one yesterday. This is delightful Chantal, such wonderful detail, framing and expression, and of course great focus. Fav. Glad to hear you are keeping the cats indoors while the baby birds grow.
