spotted at Gigrin Farm in Wales where the farmer feeds the wild Red Kites every day. This started when Red Kite numbers were so low that they were almost endangered. Now there are hundreds! They were very difficult to photograph as they were so fast. The swooped in, picked up meat with talons, and swooped straight up again. Was fantastic to watch.
They were so very rare at one time and Mid Wales was about the only place you could see them. Now they are everywhere - spotted one flying over the A27 in Worthing last week and my daughter saw two in different parts of Dorset on the same day. Great photograph . Fav - such a lovely bird
