near Lake Tekapo this morning. Not a very clear day today. Mount Cook was hidden in cloud. Am so pleased we got to see it yesterday in all its glory. Tomorrow is supposed to be a better day so we are going to go up to Mount Cook and do some walks to the glaciers
Always love your shots of Bradgate park (I am a Leicestershire girl originally) but loving your NZ shots - Are you coming up to the Bay of Islands, I live there now!
@alinz we started off on North Island but the travelling distances were too much for the 10 days we had allocated there. We flew into Auckland, spent a couple of days with a friend then drove up to Cape Rienga, then back down to Russell, then on to Rotarua for 3 nights before seeing a friend in Wellington and getting the ferry to South Island. 4 weeks is no where near enough time to see such a wonderful country. Wish we’d had more time! Walked up to Mount Cook today. Beautiful weather at last! It was stunning but my feet and back hurts after the 10km hike.
