@jyokota they werenât in their shells. They were bought to feed red squirrels in Scotland from a supermarket but I didnât see the squirrels so put them out for the birds instead
@shepherdmanswife -- Oh, I see. So did the birds eat them? I need to buy something to feed the birds once they start coming back. I need new photo subjects!
@jyokota bluetits take the food to eat somewhere safe, so yes they did manage to fly off with them. However sunflower hearts are much better as they're smaller for them.
