I was challenged by an FB friend to 1 b&w per day for 5 days. Completely clueless on what I would do, I found this shot from the wedding weekend. Taken at a local coffee shop, I loved these long, dangly earrings. They were exactly the colors I would wear, and exactly the kind of style I love. I am all about some dangly earrings, except when they hang down low enough to complete with my bra. Dh said maybe not.....
Definitely out of my comfort zone here with both the subject matter and the b&w. PLEASE critique!
What a concept for earrings. I'm into the subject matter of this shot. I keep thinking about leaning over machinery wearing those things. Maybe they're best for ceremonial purposes.
Lovely shot. Do you have Photoshop? If you do when you convert to b&w if you want to you can move the sliders of the various colours to lighten and darken that part of the image, so you don't have to change all of the photo.
@onewing do have PS. I converted this in Lightroom tho. Does PS do a nicer job? I've found in my bw challenge that LR does an ok job, but nothing really stunning, and I'd definitely like to get some better results!
