Pigs are an important part of the community where I grew up during my teenage years. The town is considered to be the "BBQ capital of the world". Even had a president come sample the goods one time. About 10 years ago, the local arts council commissioned these fiberglass pigs for the annual BBQ festival. These guys are maybe 4 feet in size and are painted and decorated by local artists. It costs a business $1,000 to sponsor one, and they are decorated to the theme of the business. This one sits outside the courthouse. Dh and I went on a treasure hunt this past weekend while in town for my son's wedding and found as many as we could that are out on display right now. I'll do a collage of them as soon as I get a chance. It was a lot of fun, and this guy seemed to work well for the b&w challenge.
