It was the faraway look in her eyes that first caught my eye. She was beautiful … majestic even. Her rich chocolate hair and snow white mane had been brushed to a fine sheen and festive adornments added a look of royalty. She would make her owner proud this day, impressing onlookers along the parade route with her regal bearing and high stepping gait.
