For my get pushed challenge this week, my partner Kim originally challenged me to take a b&w or sepia portrait of the new babies. She was kind enough to give me an optional challenge of abstract b&w in case these two didn't make it out in a timely fashion. But they busted out just in the nick of time! Here are they, 27 hours old, and just in time to feature for this week. Thanks for the challenge Kim! I've loved every minute of it!
@francoise Ha! It wasn't quite as dark as it appears in this shot. I'm working on my laptop without the benefit of my nice monitor. Everything looks screaming bright on the laptop! I'll fiddle with it in Picmonkey when I pull the laptop back out.

@francoise Finally made some time to sit down at the computer and play with a few pics. For starters, lightened this one up now that I'm on the real monitor!
@kph129 I like it! Perfect! I wanted to get more pics of the babies' tiny feet and toes, preferably all 4 at once, but I hated to make them too cold when they were so tiny! Plus, their little tootsies had so many pin pricks and sticks and bandaids from all the blood tests and vaccines they get in their first few days of life. But I'm headed back down there Wednesdaybfor a long weekend with them, so I'm looking forward to trying again! And believe it or not, I actually have a few ideas for some photos here at home. Believe it or not. Because, really, is there anything else in life after these two have arrived???
