Just explored Hooper's Island last weekend for the first time. Drove down there alone and there weren't many places to stop and snap pics. So dh went with me tonight and did the driving while I did things like hang out of the van and snap shots over the roof. Lots of people apparently take advantage of evening fishing down there, braving the biting flies and mosquitos, many of which will be spending the night inside my van tonight! No more wildfire haze down here, but another glorious sunset nonetheless before it sunk behind the cloud bank again.
UPDATE: This is the first time I've noticed THIS kind of difference. On my Viseo screen as well as on my MacBook Pro screen, dh's MacBook Air, and son's Windows, this shot is definitely orange. On my iPhone, dh's iPhone, son's HTC1, this shot is more yellow. All other photos in my album match between the computers and the phones. Why is THIS shot SO noticeably different??? VERY disappointing if you're seeing the yellow version of this! Anyone who can explain this, please do!
One more UPDATE: There is a way to completely replace a photo using PicMonkey, and to quote Richard Sayer (@vignouse), "To be used sparingly and with integrity!" This was indeed done with all integrity! I don't know what happened, but I saved the photo straight out of PS rather than exporting from LR. As a rule, I export from LR even if I've edited in PS. Saving from PS is the only thing I did different on this photo, so I went back, and once I exported from LR, the photo appeared the same on all screens, i.e. with the orange glow rather than the yellow. As I said, NO CLUE what happened! (And btw - it was indeed an orange cast in the original!)
@tjchapa@froggie0628@jin1x@vstap@agedrunner Thank you all for your kind comments! I've updated this photo with the REAL photo that was supposed to post .... please revisit it and see it as it was meant to be! Thank you again!
I think its perfect the way it is! You have spent a lot of time and thought and probably learnt far more than I would! Its bound to be very technical about the different appliances and thats when I turn off! fav
@shesnapped Always happy to be of service, Ashley! Check that the colour space setting is the same in PS and LR - it needs to be sRGB to display correctly via the Internet. I like your Golden Fishermen a lot - Fav for me... as it happens, I posted a sunset fisherman too, but very different from yours.
