Saw April Milani's post about Lensbaby and Freelensing, so thought I would give it a try. No Lensbaby, so this is freelensing. Found a few instructive articles and videos, and finally found the time today to give it a try. Interesting! Dh liked this freelens the best of all of them.
Nice shot Ashley .I had not heard of it so went to google & had a read.I think that you could achieve the shot you have here with your aperture opened to allow the dof you want with a lens that can open to a wide aperture.

I didn't know if you might like to try some fireworks, water, clouds, ghosts, or light trails, but whatever tickles your fancy, as long as it is a long exposure shot. If this doesn't work, just let me know and I'll set another challenge.
