Caught one of the wild pony herds running thru the puddles the other night at Chincoteague. For whatever reason, they came out from behind the trees, one or two at a time, and ran thru the water, over to behind the other trees. With a clear path around the water, they still ran thru it. Why?
Felt so bad for the lady beside me! She was in town for a dog seminar of some sort. The class let out early so she came down to the Refuge to see what she could see. She was SO bummed that she didn't bring her camera with her! She kept saying she was a member of a camera club and this would have been a perfect shot! My heart just went out to her! We laughed about it together, but that certainly didn't make it any better!
