So, I know the rule that you're not supposed to post a photo that's not good, but I'm doing it anyway tonight. I spent quite a while watching and shooting a couple eagles sitting in a tree. It was a fairly serene time, lots of birds and ducks all around, chatting with each other but calm for the most part. Suddenly, every bird out there took off in full flight and clamor, all at once, with no warning and no apparent reason, and those two eagles swooped right in for the kill. So much happened so fast, surprised and startled at the same time, the adrenaline sky rocketed as it always does, and who knew which way to turn and what to try to capture first. Mostly I was just swinging that big ol' lens here and there and everywhere. I think the technical term for it is "spray and pray". Lots of noise reduction and the best that could be done with sharpening. Dh calls it a Big O shot. :-)
