Dh made the cake again this year. Mommy sent him photos of the plates and napkins, and he took the idea and ran with it. Decided to venture out into the world of fondant and sculpt the animals, pond, mud, and fence. The farm is a big, fondant covered Rice Krispie treat. Normal buttercream icing, tho, because fondant doesn't really taste all that great!
Dh earns his living being a computer geek, but his first degree was in graphic arts, and his favorite class was sculpting. We've had some seriously interesting birthday cakes thru the years, and we always enjoy recalling them each time we celebrate a birthday! :-)
