MUCH needed jaunt to Blackwater Monday night. So grateful that's still open! Only 3 or 4 other cars there, so no social distancing issues. The kids got to ride their plasma cars for FOREVER, and they loved it and are in MUCH better spirits today! And I got to pull out my camera, so I'M in much better spirits today also!!!
Hubby spotted this fox up ahead of us moving very quickly up the trail. I jumped out and fired off a couple shots before having a chance to check my settings ... so this is an instance of quantity over quality! When this guy turned around and looked at me, I nearly melted! Feeling real sorry for that muskrat (I think???), but what an awesome experience! When you get to interact with the wildlife like that, make that momentary connection, it just sets you on fire!
How lovely to see you here again Ashley I do hope you are keeping well in these difficult times. How lovely to see a fox. A real survivor of the fittest scene playing out here. I suppose we all eat something that was once alive we just don't usually have to catch it ourselves.
