This little farm sits at the bottom of the hills at Howtown. Storm Desmond caused a number of small landslips down the mountain just behind the farm. You can see the brown scares on the hill. The slide right behind the farm caused tons of mud and stone to flow right through the farm. Luckily it stopped at the house back door! The people who lived in the house had to move out at the moment because they fear more landslides might happen.
@nadia_mt I agree the whole area seems to be unstable, there are several landslides that have occurred all the way up the valley. They have deposited tons of mud and rubble into many fields which the farmers are now going to have to clean away.
