Lorenzo by shirleybankfarm

Lorenzo

This is the little calf that I showed just after he was born on the 4th February. He is looking a little sleepy because he has just woken up. We have decided to call him Lorenzo. All pure British Blue cattle born this year that we want to register with the British Blue society must have a name starting with the letter L. The letters change each year through the alphabet, this way you can tell what year an animal was born. There is always much debate on what the name will be. This little chaps name was between Lenny, Leo, Louis and Lorenzo which won. We always try to go for the more unusual that we think nobody else will have thought of, but it doesn't always work. Here is the link to the last picture when he was only 5 minuets old and trying to stand up. http://365project.org/shirleybankfarm/365/2016-02-04

do you show them?

@anniesue Yes we do show them, but don't tend to do such as Skelton or Penrith because they are always when my husband is at his busiest.
