Blue flash

It was Penrith show today and I rather took a liking to these hens. I have no idea what breed they are but liked the blue flash. They were rather difficult to capture as they were in pens with narrow bars, inside a marquee and it was difficult to get the right angle for the light. The one I really took a liking to which had a larger blue flash on just would not keep still, it was constantly darting it's head around.

@shirleybankfarm I reckon it was something like a silkie - but I didn't know they had blue ears. I have been told that the colour of the ears denotes the colour of the eggs but I'm pretty sure no chicken lays eggs that colour!! (I have hens that lay blue eggs)
