GREAT GREY OWL by shirljess

GREAT GREY OWL

photo 137
These guys live right by our house in some huge cottonwood trees along the railroad tracks. Unlike hawks, they are not skiddish. It is crazy how they will sit and let you take pictures of them, you even talk to them and they jus sit there and strech their head toward you as if they are really trying to hear what you are saying. Such amzing creatures. Those big yellow eyes that seem to look right through you and the way they can turn their heads 360....so incredible!

I will be posting more pictures of younger Great Grey owl that I captured soon.

Thanks everyone for all your lovely comments, views and FAVS. This beautiful owl hit the PP on 5-16-2012 because of you.
